Formed after 20 years in the corporate world, Neil Cox decided to set up Rise Above Consulting to provide an honest and affordable yet high quality HR consultancy service focusing on Executive Search, Leadership Coaching, Interim Management and a raft of other specialist areas. Having spent his career dealing with both the good and bad of the supplier world, he felt it was time for an offering that was transparent, ethical and without the flannel so often associated with the profession. Having worked across a number of industry sectors including Engineering, Retail, Financial Services and Distribution, we believe the basics of good practice in our world are transferable and pride ourselves on our network and cross-industry market knowledge.

An ‘In-house’ Recruitment & Resourcing Specialist/Business Partner with 15+ years multi-sector recruitment experience. Fully conversant with a range of sourcing methods and selection techniques, stakeholder management, competency design and job analysis, telephone, face-to-face and competency/behavioural based interviewing, administering and interpreting psychometric tests and co-coordinating/running assessment centres.
